Resident Evil: Deadly Silence is an enhanced remake of the original 1996 survival horror classic, released for the Nintendo DS in 2006 to commemorate the series' 10th anniversary. Developed by Capcom, it faithfully recreates the investigation of the Spencer Mansion by S.T.A.R.S. members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine while introducing hardware-specific features and modern gameplay refinements. 

Key Gameplay Modes

• Classic Mode: A faithful recreation of the original PlayStation experience with minimal enhancements.
• Rebirth Mode: A revamped version featuring increased enemy counts, remixed item placements, and new puzzles designed for the DS hardware.

• Microphone Usage: Players can blow into the built-in microphone to perform actions like resuscitating an injured comrade or blowing away poison.
• Modern Refinements: Includes the 180-degree quick turn (from RE3), tactical reloading while aiming, and a dedicated knife button that doesn't consume an inventory slot (from RE4).
